About:
InstaRender is a client side sprite rendering tool that allow users to build sprites by selecting sprite appearance, props and animations. And best of all the rendering does not occur on your computer! The InstaRender client communicates with my custom Poser4 render farm. Once the render is complete the graphics are zipped, and remotely uploaded to my server for users to download. Once downloaded, the .ZIP is removed from the server.
InstaRender can render sprites in Isometric, TopView, & Perspective view. It supports stencil, sketch, full color, and anti-alias rendering. You may render sprites from 64x64 pixels to 448x448 pixels.
Design:
InstaRender was designed to provide and easy, cost-effective way to achieve animated sprites.
Explorations and InstaRender can communicate to build and deliver your sprites while you build other portions of your game. Multi-tasking is a key element to game development and Explorations does just that. InstaRender enables you to submit request in que and download them within 10 minutes when they complete, or they remain on the server for 7 days.
Interface:
The user interface within InstaRender is very simple. The first dialog you notice is the Process Que which holds all your current requests to the renderfarm. To access the creation dialog just click the "Request" item in the menubar. After you have created your sprite and fine-tuned the appropriate settings on how to render it, you can send it to the server. Once sent all you have to do is wait (or preferrably multi-task and tackle a different aspect of the game) and InstaRender will notify you once they are done rendering and uploading.
The goal of InstaRender is to minimize the time creating and rendering sprite models so you can focus more on plot development and a quality game design. Without having to render, model, or edit meshes and sprites you are left with invaluable time to work on other parts of the game.
Let's design better games, not just better graphics!
